It’s been a hot minute since I wrote (or even planned) my monthly TBR list. But, I’d like to get in the habit again. I’ve been swamped with reading for the Literatus business, so that has taken up a lot of reading time. There is still a lot to do for that, so August will seem a little slimmer than it really is.
Not to mention, school starts in a couple weeks. With the pandemic and homeschooling my boys, who knows how this coming month will go! Here’s what I hope to read at least.

- Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood
- Kindred by Octavia E. Butler
The first two books are for my science fiction and fantasy book club. Due to work, I fell behind on reading Daggerspell so I have about 100 pages left. The Troll Guide and Goblin King are both ARCs that will be released in November. While I may not share the reviews until closer to publication, I’d like to get them finished as soon as I can. The remaining two books are long awaited backlist titles from the library.
And as always, I am sure there will be changes and additions as the month moves on. What are you reading this August?
